PVGCI  Matches - - Equipment & Course of Fire

Palomino Valley Gun Club, Inc., a non-profit corporation, conducts several types of shooting matches at the Washoe County Regional Shooting Facility (just northwest of mile-marker 25 on Pyramid Highway).  Matches are operated for the enjoyment of all who participate with absolute requirements of safety, responsibility, and cooperation with the match director/range master.  All firearms on the line must be unloaded, grounded, action open, and not handled during periods when the range is cleared. Where practical, a chamber flag will be inserted to aid visual check that actions are open and unloaded. If you have questions – ask , we are here to help.

Match fees collected are used primarily for improvements and maintenance of the County Range by members of  PVGCI.  Many of the range facilities and equipment items have been provided, constructed, or upgraded by PVGCI and its members.

Match rules and course of fire changes are possible. Contact the Match Director for up to date information.
