Match Directors

Participation in the Long Range Practices requires pre-authorization from the match director. Club membership is also required. New shooters/members wishing to participate in the long range practices, contact Mike Schreier at 856-1144 or 771-8060 one week in advance.

The Palomino Valley Gun Club practices at the

Washoe County Shooting Facility

21555 Pyramid Lake Highway

Facilities include: Outdoor Rifle (100-1000 yds), Rifle Silhouette 100-500 yardS, Outdoor Small Bore Range, 600-1000 Yd. Benchrest

Range Access: Public

Directions: From I-80, east or west, take the Pyramid Highway (State Route 445) exit and go north ~22 miles on Pyramid Highway (State Route 445). Look for the Shooting Facility signs.

Range open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Hours are 8:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m

The cost is $8.00 a day to shoot. Range master is on duty during public hours.
